ACCEPTING GRANT DEED
WHEREAS, ELSIE OPAL GALLAGHER, has presented to the City
Council a grant deed dated December 13, 1955 in consideration of
payment of $265.00, conveying property described as:
An easement for street purposes over the Westerly l0
feet of the following:
All that certain land situated in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot ~ in Block "A"
of "Hedges Addition to Santa Ana", as shown on a map thereof,
recorded in Book 48,
31, Page Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, Caltfornta~ and running thence West, 325 feet;
thence Northerly parallel with the Westerly line of Baker
Street, 200 feet; thence West, 174.2 feet to the true point
of beginning of the boundar~ of the land herein described;
thence West, 144.2 feet, more or less, to the Easterly line of
Bristol Street, as described in the deed to the City of Santa
Ana recorded July 25, 1925, in Book 591, Page 221, Deeds,
records of said Orange County; thence Southerly along said line
of Bristol Street, 50 feet; thence East, 144.2 feet, more or
less, ~o a line extending Southerly, parallel with the Westerly
line of Baker Street, from said t~ue point of beginning; thence
Northerly along said parallel line 50 feet to said true point
of beginning.
NOW, ~{EREFORE, BE IT ~ESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to
cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of March , 1956.
