STATE ADMINISTRATION OF LOCAL SALES AND USE TAXES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has adopted
Ordinance No. NS-160 and the County of Orange has adopted a similar
Ordinance providing for the performance by the State Board of Equal-
ization, of all functions incident to the administration, operation
and collection of sales and use taxes
spectively;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Mayor of the .City of
Santa Ana is hereby empowered and authorized to enter into an Agreemenb
for State administration of local sales and use taxes in the form pre-
sented to the City by the State Board of Equalization, in the name of
the City of Santa Aha.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting ~eld on the 5th day of March, 1956.
