WHEREAS, SANTA ANA SCHOOL DISTRICT, successor to DELHI S(~t00L
DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY,.has presented to the City Council a grant
deed dated ~ar~h l%th, 1956 conveying property in the City of Santa
Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement over the following described property:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter
of Section Thirty, Township Five South, Range Nine West, S.B.B. &
M., described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection
of the center line of ~elhi Road as shown on a Map of Tract No.
39, recorded in Book 9, Page 37 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, with the Northerly prolongation of that
portion of the Westerly line of Lot One in Block 2 of said Tract No.
39, said portion of the Westerly line having a bearing and dis-
tance of South 0° 23' 30" East ~16.60 feet; thence South 0° 23' 30"
East along, said Westerly line to a line that is parallel with and
Southerly 40.00 feet, measured at right angles from the center line
of said Delhi Road; thence Westerly along said parallel line to the
Easterly line of the Pacific Electric Railway right of way as shown
on said Map of Tract No. 39; thence North 0° 08' 30" West along said
Easterly line to the center line of said Delhi Road; thence Easterly
along said center line to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion lying within said Delhi Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana ac-
cepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to
cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 16N~ day of A?r±l , 1956.
