ACCEPTING QUITCI2~I~.~ DEED
WHEREAS, Pacific Electric Railway Company has presented to the
City Council a quitclaim deed dated April 24, 1956, without cash
consideration, forever quitclaiming to the City of Santa Ana all
its right, title and interest in and to that real property situated
in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California,
described as:
Parcel "A"
Two strips of land, being all those certain 60 foot strips
conveyed to H. E. Huntington in deed from A. Wallis Maguire,
et ux, recorded in Book 159, page 210 of Deeds, in deed from
Walter A. Stafford, et ux, recorded in Book 159, page 207 of
Deeds, both in the office of the Recorder of said County, said
strips being a portion of Lots "E" and "F" as designated on a
map filed with the Final Decree of Partition of the Estate of
N. 0. Stafford, Deceased, and recorded in Book 106, page 424
of Deeds in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County.
Parcel "B"
Four strips of land being all those certain strips conveyed to
H. E. Huntington in deed from D. G. Cole, et ux, recorded in
Book 159, page 219 of Deeds in deed from A. Otis Birch, et ux,
recorded in Book 1~9, page ~16 of Deeds, in deed from Frank
Wakeham, recorded in Book 159, page 213 of Deeds, in deed from
the Southern California Sugar Line, recorded in Book 160, page
148 of Deeds, all recorded in the office of the Recorder of said
County, said four strips being a portion of lots 2, 4, 6 and 9
of "McFadden-Wilson Tract", as per a map of said tract recorded
in Book 21, page 91 of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of
the recorder of Los Angeles County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana ac-
cepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to
cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
