TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY FOR PURPOSE OF
SUPPLYING ELECTRIC ENERGY TO THE CITY YARD
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is in the process of construct-
lng a city yard and shop area which will require electric energy for
the purpose of furnishing power and illumination, and for that put-
pose has determined that the Grant of Easement herein provided is
necessary,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and the
Clerk of the Council to execute a Grant of Easement to the Southejn
California Edison Company for the purposes and in the form hereunto
attached across that certain real property in the City'of Santa Ana
described as:
Said electric supply line shall be erected and maintained
upon the Easterly l0 feet of the Westerly 160.00 feet of the
Southerly 393.5 feet of the Northerly 403.5 feet of Lot l,
Block 2, Tract 39 as per map recorded in Book 9, Page 37 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, State of
California.
Said underground conduit shall be installed and maintained
within two strips of land, each 5 feet in width; the center
lines of which are described as follows:
Strip 1. Beginning at a point which is 363.~ feet Southerly
and 160.00 feet Easterly from the Northwest corner of said
Lot l, Block 2, Tract 39, and running thence in a straight
line to a point which is 51.00 feet Easterly and 6.00 feet
Southerly from the point of beginning.
Strip.2. Beginning at a point which is 350.00 feet Southerly
and lb0.00 feet Easterly from the Northwest corner of said
Lot l, Block 2, Tract 39, and running thence in a straight
line to a point which is 51.00 feet Easterly and 12.8 feet
Southerly from the point of beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of May, 1956.
