DECLARING CERTAIN MAIN THOROUGHFARES TO BE MAJOR CITY STREETS; FJ.IMINATING CERTAIN
NAMED THOROUGHFARES FROM THE MAJOR CITY STREET CLASSIFICATION; ALSO, REQUESTING
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, TO APPROVE THE DECLARATI~
BE IT RESOLVED: That Bristol Street, Delhi Road, Edinger Street, First Street,
Flower Street, Fourth Street, McClay Street and Seventeenth Street, now classified
as Major City Streets, are hereby approved, fixed and declared to be Major City
Streets for the Full length of their respective extended limits as designated below:
- Talbert Road to Memory Lane
-West City Limits near Rene Drive to East City Limfts
at the Southern Pacific Railroad
- Center Street to East City Limits at Rousselle Street
West City Limits at Santa Ana River to East City
T.~m~te near Santa Ana Freeway
South City Limits at Pacific Electric Railway to
Santa Aha Freeway
Fifth Street near Hawley Street to East City Lim~ts
near Santa Ana Freeway
Delhi Road to Chestnut Avenue
West City L~mlts at Santa Ana River to East City
Lim~ts at Mabury Street
195 of the Streets and Highways Cede.
That the following named thoroughfares:
Bishop Street - Bristol Street to Lyon Strget
Willits Street - Sullivan Street to Bristol Street
Dyer Road - Main Street to East City Limits at Southern Pacific
Railroa'd
Fair,Jew Avenue - Raitt Street to Main Street
Walnut Street - First Street near Townsend Street to First Street
near Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad
are hereby approved, fixed and declared to be MAjor City Streets in the City of
Santa Aha, California, as provided for in Section 195 of the Streets and Highways Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the following named thoroughfares: Chestnut Avenue,
Fifth Street (from Pacific Electric Railroad to Main Street only), Fruit Street,
Santiago Avenue, Sixth Street, being now classified as Major City Streets, are hereby
deleted from said classification.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Department of Public Works of the State
of California is hereby requested to approve and agree to the above designated
Major City Street extensions, additions and deletions.
