ACCEPTING GRANT DEED
WHEREAS, GEORGE D. PHELPS, HEL~ M. PHELPS, and C. S.
LITTLE~0HN and ASSOCIATES hav'~presented to the City Council a
g-~-~2 deed dated May 4, 1956, without cash consideration, con-
veying property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
An easement for the construction, maintenance and repair of
a sanitary sewer main over, under and across:
A strip of land l~ feet in width, described as the Southerly
l~.O0 feet of the following: That portion of Lot i of the
Sepulveda Tract, as per map recorded in book 31, page 197 of
Deeds, in the office of the county recorder of Los Angeles
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning South 19.38 chains from the common corner of sections
10, ll, 14 and 15, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, which point
is at the intersection of the center of the Newport Road and
the south line of said Lot I of lh e SepulvedaTract; thence
West 16 chains along said south line of said Lot l; thence North
5 chains; thence East 16 chains, parallel with said south line
of Lot i to the center line of the Newport Road; thence South
5 chains along the center of said Newport Road to the point of
beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby inst~cted
to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of
Orange County, California.
