DELINEATI~G CENTRAL TRAFFIC
BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
That pursuant to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the
State of California and pursuant to the provisions of Section 3204
of the Santa Ana ~?~unicipal Code, the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana does hereby declare that all that portion of said City
lying within the following described exterior boundary lines, ex-
cept that portion thereof which has heretofore in Resolution No.
53-22 been, or may hereafter be, declared to be in Central Traffic
District "A" is hereby declared to be and the same is hereby cre-
ated and delineated as Central Traffic District
Beginning at the Northwest corner of First Street and Birch
Street, thence Northerly in a direct line to the Southwest cor-
ner of Second Street and Birch Street;
Thence Westerly in a direct llne to the Southeast corner of
Second Street and Ross Street;
Thence Northerly in a direct line to the Northeast corner of
Third Street and Ross Street;
Thence Westerly in a direct line to the Northwest cor~er of
Third Street and Ross Street;
Thence Northerly in a direct line to the Southwest corner of
Fourth Street and Ross Street;
Thence Westerly in a direct line to the Southeast corner of
Fourth Street and Patton Street;
Thence Northerly in a direct line to the Northeast corner of
Fourth Street and Patton Street;
Thence Easterly in a direct line to the Northwest corner of
Fourth Street and Ross Street;
Thence Northerly in a direct line to the Northwest corner of
Eighth Street and Ross Street;
Thence Easterly in a direct line to the Northwest corner of
Eighth Street and Broadway;
Thence Northerly in a direct line to the Southwest corner of
Tenth Street and Broadway;
Thence Easterly in a direct line to the Southeast corner of
Tenth Street and Broadway;
Thence Southerly in a direct line to the Northeast corner of
Church Street and Broadway;
Thence Easterly in a direct line to the Northwest corner of
Church Street and Sycamore Street;
Thence Northerly in a direct line to the point of intersection
of the Easterly prolongation of the South line of Eighth Street
and the West line of Sycamore Street;
Thence Easterly in a direct line along said Easterly prolonga-
tion of the South line of Eighth Street to its intersection with
the East line of Sycamore Street;
Thence Southerly in a direct line to the Northeast corner of
Church Street and Sycamore Street;
Thence Easterly in a direct line to the Northwest corner of
Church Street and Main Street;
Thence Northerly in a direct line to the point of intersection
of the Westerly prolongation of the South line of Eighth Street with
the West line of Main Street;
Thence Easterly in a direct line to the Southeast corner of
Eighth Street and ~ain Street;
Thence Southerly in a direct line to the Northeast corner of
Seventh Street and ~ain Street;
~nence Easterly in a direct line to the point of intersection
of the Easterly prolongation of the No~th line of Seventh Street
with the East line of Spurgeon Street;
Thence Southerly in a direct line to the Northeast corner of
Fifth Street and Spurgeon Street;
Thence Easterly in a direct line to the Northeast corner of
Fifth Street and French Street;
Thence Southerly in a direct line to ~ne Northeast corner of
Fourth Street and French Street;
Thence Easterly in a direct line to the Northeast corner of
Fourth Street ~d Mortimer Street;
Thence Southerly in a direct line to the point of intersection
of the Southerly prolongation of the East line of ~orti~er Street
and the South line of Fourth Street;
Thence Westerly in a direct line to the Southeast corner of

Walnut Street and Cypress Avenue;
Thence Westerly in a direct line to the ~orthwest corner of
Walnut Street and Birch Street;
Thence Northerly in a direct line to the Northwest corner of
First Street and Birch Street, the point of beginning.
This Resolution supersedes smd nullifies Resolution No. 55-176
establishing Central Traffic District

Ana this 18th day of June , 1956.
