WHEREAS, Henry T. Se er~, Yvonne de C. Segerstrom, Anton
H. Segerstrom, Nellie Ruth Segerstrom, Harold T. Segerstrom, Veronica
P. Segerstrom, Harold T. Segerstrom Jr., Jeanette E. Segerstrom and
Ann SeEerstrom have presented to the City Council a grant deed dated
July 26, 1956, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over only that portion
vested in the grantor herein, of the following described
property. Said property being a strip of land 60 feet in
width tae center line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Delhi
Road and 01d Newport Road and ~unntng thence South 87° 42' 15"
West 1868.62 feet along the North line and its Easterly ex-
tension of Lot 3 in Tract No. 1013 as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 33, Page 36, Miscellaneous I~lap, Records of
Orange County, California, to the Northwest corner of said
Lot 3, and the beginning of a t~ugent curve, concave Southerly;
thence Westerly and Southwesterly along said curve, having a
radius of 1000 feet through a central angle of 18° 59' 43" an
arc length of 331.~1 feet to a tangent line; thence South
68° 42' 32" West 940.35 feet to a tangent curve concave
Northerly, having a radius of 1000 feet; thence Southwesterly
and Westerly along said curve through a central angle of
20° 01' 13" an arc distance of 349.42 feet to a point on the
East line of Lot 7, Tract No. 1024 as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 33, Page 33, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
said Orange County, 306.~7 feet Northerly from the Sou~east
corner of said Lot 7.
Reserving unto first party, their successors and assigns
the right to construct, maintain and operate upon, across or
over the land herein described, such railway tracks as shall
be required by them for industrial and for other development
or use for the parcels of laud owned by said party and other
property adjacent to or in the vicinity of the above described
land and in such locations upon the above described land, as
shall be required for such purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed
to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of
Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of August, 1956.
