EESC~UTION NO. 56-217
RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
REPORT OF STRgET SUPERINTENDENT, APPROVING REPORT
AND ORDERING A COPY THEREOF FILED WITH THE TAX
COLLECTOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
WHERF~, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did, on the
19th day of March, 1956, pass Resolution No. 56-96 determining and
declaring that weeds which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and which
attain such a large growth as to become a fire menace when dry and which
are noxious and dangerous were growing upon the streets, sidewalks, and
private property in the City of Santa A~a, described in the itemized report
submitted herewith; and
WHEREAS, on the ?th day of May, 1956, the City Council further
passed Resolution No. 56-121, ordering the Street Superintendent of said
City to abate such public nuis~nce; and
~LEREAS, the said Street Superintendent has given notice as
rSquired by law, in which notice the 6th day of August, 1956, at the
hour of 7:30 otclock P. M., was fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber
of the City Hall of said City as the place, where any and all persor~
interested in the said report might be heard; and
~PLEREAS, at the time set the Street Superintendent submitted the
said report, and all of said protests or objections to said report having
been heard; .and
IT IS HERE~BY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
that all of said protests or objections to the said report of the work done.
be, and the same are hereby, overruled, and the report affirmed; and that the
Street Superintendent be, and he is hereby, directed to file a copy of said
report with the Tax Collector.

at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of August, 1956.
