ACCEPTING GRA~T DEED
WHEREAS, Mildred L. K_~has presented to the City
Council a grant deed dated September ll, 1956, t~ bonsider~tton-
of-$28120~, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over the westerly 40.00
feet of the following:
The south 50.00 feet of that portion of the northwest quar-
ter of the northwest quarter of section 12, Township 5
South, Range l0 West, in the land allotted to Jacob Ross
in decree of partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana,
recorded in book B of Judgments of the l?th Judicial Dis-
trict Court of California, located in the city of Santa Ana,
county of Orange, state of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the westerly line of said section,
being the northwest corner of that certain 6-acre tract of
land conveyed to Albert G. Hesse and wife by deed recorded
August 27, 192~ in ~ook 538 page 125 of Deeds, said north-
west corner bezng d~stant 285.74 feet, more or less,
southerly from the northwest corner of said section 12;
thence easterly 174.62 feet along the northerly line of
said 6-acre tract of land; thence southerly lO0.00 feet
parallel with the westerly line of said section; thence
westerly 174.62 feet.parallel with the northerly line of
the above-mentioned b-acre tract of land to the westerly
line of said section; thence northerly 100.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
EXCEPT the westerly 30.00 feet thereof included in Bristol
Street.
Note: Said land is included within the area shown on a
map filed in book 3, page 12 of Record of Surveys in the
office of the county recorder of said county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed
to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of
Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the l?th day of September, 1956.
