SUPERVISORS TO IMP~ROVE HIGHWAY FACILITIES ON
EAST-WEST ROADS ENTERING TH~'COUNTY SEAT
WHEREAS, highway access to tho-City of Santa Ana is becoming
an increasingly important matter for consideration by the Honorable
Board of Supervisors of Orange County because of the rapid growth
of the area and the desirability and necessity of easy traffic
movement to and from the county seat of said county; and
WHEREAS, the westerly part of the county has experienced and
is experiencing more rapid growth than the remainder of said county,
an access to and from the said area and the City of Santa Aha
wherein is located the county seat is becoming daily more important;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of
Orange County to give immediate consideration to the improvement of
highway facilities connecting the two vital areas hereinabove re-
and to include in such plans and study the following

items:
1.
Improvement of the Talbert Street Bridge over the
Santa Aha River.
A bridge over the Santa Aha River connected with the
extension of Delhi Road with Delhi Road continuing
to connect with Harbor Boulevard.
3. Extension of Fairview with a Bridge over the Santa
Ana River and connecting with Harbor Boulevard.
4- Bridge over the Santa Aha River at Edinger.
