OF THE REVERSE CURVE ON McFADD~ STREET BETWEEN
ORANGE AVENUE AND ~IN STREET AS ESTABLISHED BY
THE PRIMARY STREET ~P ADOPTED NOV~.IBER 7, 1955
BY RESOLUTION NO. 55-264
WHEREAS, heretofore, by Resolution No. ~-264, the City
Council adopted a Primary Street Map for the City of Santa Ana
which included a reverse curve to connect McFadden Street with
Fairview Avenue between Orange Avenue and Main Street; and
WHEREAS, after study, traffic estimate, and benefit analy-
sis of the area, it now appears that the cost of such reverse
curve connecting link would not be economically Justifiable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Primary Street
Map of the City of Santa Ana adopted by Resolution No. ~-26~ be,
and the same is hereby amended and modified by the elimination of
the ~everse curve connecting McFadden Street and Fairview Avenue
between Orange Avenue and Main Street, and it is ordered in lieu
thereof that McFadden Street be shown and carried on said Primary
Street M~p as continuing westerly from Orange Avenue along its
present alignment to Main Street, that is, in a straight line to
the west at width now shown.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of Octobe~ 19~6.
