WA~DS AS P~QUIRED BY SECTION 101.2 OF THE
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF SANTA A~NA AND FIXING
TIME AND PLACE OF PUBLIC HE~ING THEREON.
WI~S, Section 101.2 of the Charter of the City of Santa Aha re-
quires the City Council change ward boundary lines each two years when any
ward varies at least ten percent of registered electors from any other ward
and such a condition now exists.
NOW, T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby declares
its intention to make changes in the boundary lines of wards in the City so
that no ward shall vary from any other ward by more than ten percent of
total number of qualified registered electors and hereby fixes 7:30 P.M. on
December 17, 1956, in the City Council Chambers, third floor of the City Hall
at the intersection of Third and Main Streets in Santa Ana, California, as
the time and place when and whe~eany persons having any interest therein, or
any objection to the making thereof, may appear before the City Council and
be heard thereon.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council shall give
notice of said hearing by publishing this Resolution twice in the Santa Aha
Independent prior to said date.
PASSED AND AI~PTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of December, 1956.
