ACCEPTING GRANT DWk~I~
WHEREAS, Charles C. Brisco has presented to the City Council a
grant deed d~ted August 16, 1956, without cash consideration, conveying
an easement in property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
of California, described as:
An easement for road purposes over and across a strip of
land 60.00 feet in width over that portion of Lot 3 of the
Mabury Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 165, page
301 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, the
center line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of that certain 54.00-
foot strip of land conveyed to the City of Santa Ana by deed
recorded June 24, 1955 in Book 3117, page 160 of Official
Records of Orange County, California, said point being located
584.61 feet North 0° 47' 00" East along the said East line of
the 54.00-foot strip of land from the center line of Seven-
teenth Street; running thence North 88° 52' 40" East 395.68
feet to a point in the East line of that certain parcel of
land conveyed in Parcel i in a deed to Charles C. Brisco and
wife, recorded October 16, 1943 in Book 1214, page 275 of
Official Records.
NOW, TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha accepts
said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said
deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its regular meeting held on the 7th day of January . · 1957.
