ACCEPTING Gi~ANT DEED
~EREAS, SANTA ANA SCHOOL DISTRICT, has presented to the City
Council a grant deed dated January ll, 1957, without cash consideration,
conveying an easement in property in the City of Santa Ana, County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over:
The easterly 42.00 feet of the north half of the following
described parcel of land:
Beginning st a point in the South line of said Kuffel and
Fletcher Tract, said point being distant North 87° 44' 45" East
2455.12 feet from the intersection of the center lines of Old
Newport Road and Delhi Road, as shown on a Map filed in Book
7, Page 9 of Record of Surveys in the offi~e of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California, said point oeing the
most Southerly corner of a certain parcel of l~ud described
in the deed recorded November 27, 1936 mn Book 849, Page 477,
of Official Records; thence North 1° 00' 20" West, along the
East line of said parcel of land, 1067.44. feet to the Northeast
corner thereof; thence South 88° 48' 20"'~;est 547.19 feet to a
point; thence South 1° 00' 20" East 1077.56 f~et to a point in
the South line of said Kuffel and Fletcher Tract; thence North
87° 44' 45" East 547.31 feet to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEI'~FORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed
to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, Cslifornia.
