RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN
INDENTURE WITH SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is extending a 12-inch water
main under the Southern Pacific Railroad Tracks at Delhi Road, and
continuing to McClay Street, a~d has reached agreement with the
Southern Pacific Company for the construction and maintenance of
such water main;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL OF ~4E
CITY OF SANTA ANA, that the Mayor a~d the Clerk of the Council are
hereby directed to execute that certain Indenture dated March 4,
1957, between the City and the Southern Pacific Company whereby,
in consideration of TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00), the City is granted
the right to construct, reconstruct, maintain and operate a 12-inch
water pipe line beneath the tracks and property of the Railroad at
Engineer Station 144~-18, which is the intersection of the Railroad
right-of-way and Delhi Road.
The Clerk of the Council is instructed to attach two (2)
certified copies of this Resolution to the copies of the Indentumes
and to return the same to the Southern Pacific Company.

Ana this 4th day of March, 1957.
