FROHIBI~I~ FARKI~G ON FIRST STREmT, from BIRCH TO MAIN (with exceptions) during
certain hours of the day.
WHEREAS, the traffic conditions on First Street are such that two lanes of
traffic should be provided during the peak traffic hours of the day, BE IT RESOLVED:
That by the power granted to the City in the California Vehicle Code, Section 459.8
and the Santa Aha ~Anicipat Code, Section 3216, the following parking limitations
are established:
No parking or stopping between 7:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M.; and between
4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. on the following sections of Rirst Street:
North side of First Street, between Sycamore and Birch.
South side of First Street, between Main and Birch Street.
Except: Between Main and Sycamore - East ~0 feet of the west 50 feet.
These ltm~ts are not in effect on Sundays and legal holidays.
The Director of Public Works is hereby directed to cause such signs to be erected as
hereinabove described.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular
meeting held on the 4th day of ~arch , 1957.
