%~Y{EREAS, J. E. PRENTICE has presented to the City Council a
Grant Deed dated Narch 7, 1957, which, together with a Deed dated
March 5, 1957, offered by the Elks Building Association of Santa
Ana, Inc., covering the same property, are given in consideration
of ~2,500.00, which said Grant Deed conveys property to the City
of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
The Northerly 17 feet of the following described property:
Lot A of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, in the City of
Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, as shown
on a map thereof recorded in Book 2, Page 618, Miscellan-
eous Records of Los Angeles County, California; the North-
west corner of said Lot A being South 5Q links and East
50 links of the exterior boundaries as established by
said Stafford and Tustin Tract; excepting therefrom the
Easterly 379.00 feet granted to the City of Santa Ana by
deed as recorded in Book 1876, page 280, Records of Orange
County, Cbifornia.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed
to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of
0r~ge County, California.
PASSED ~ND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa

1957.
