~E OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE RENDERED BY MAYOR
MILFORD W. DAHL
WHEREAS, Milford W. Dahl has, for six years, served as a
Councilman of the City of Sm ta Ana, California, and is now retir-
ing from said service as the Mayor of said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana hereby expresses to Mayor Dahl the apprecia-
tion of the informed citizenry of our community for his outstand-
ing public service, his consistent contribution to good government,
his fearless and unwaverLug stand for those things in which he be-
lieved, his open resistance to any influence that would tend to
weaken or corrupt our City Government, and for his leadership in
the councils that have increased the amount and character of City
services, with a reduction in tax rate during each year of his time
in office, to make our City a leader in Southern California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That we extend to him our best
wishes for his success and satisfaction in the long future ahead of
him.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
regular meeting held on the 16th day of April,
