TO WILLIAN JER0~ FOR HIS UMI%~UE CONTRIBUTION
AS COUNCI~,{AN OF Till CITY OF SANTA ANA
~[EREAS, Willi~n Jerome has served the people of the City of
Santa Ana as a member of the City Council of said City for the past
six years, during which time he has unsparingly given of his time
and personal interest in his effort to make and keep our City the
leader in the Santa Ana Industrial Area;
NOW~ THEREFOt~E, BE IT RESOLVED that we express to William
Jerome our sincere regret that his personal circumstances required
him to end his public service, and express the respect and appre-
ciation for the citizens of this co~uunity for the unselfish, in-
dustrious, honest and intelligent manner in which he has handled
the office of Councilman of our City, in which capacity he has been
a peace maker in the face of controversy and a leader in the Council
that upgraded the quality of Nunicipal Government in our Ci~~, in-
creasing the amount and character of services given to the citizens,
with a reduction in tax rate during each year of his time in office.
