WHE~EA~, FRED AVATOS WOSLUM and ETI~EL P. ~OSLUN have presented
to the City Council a Grant Deed dated March 25, 1957, without cash
consideration, conveying property in t he City of Santa Ana, County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
Those portions ef the Northwest quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section Fourteen, Township Five South, Range
Ten West, S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
PARCEL l: An Easement for street and public utility pur-
poses over a strip of land 84.00 feet in width, the center
line of sd d 84.00-foot strip being described as follows:
Beginning at the Easterly terminus of the center line of
Walnut Street, as shown on a Map of Tract No. 407 recorded
in Book 15, page ]~]1 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California; thence Easterly along the Easterly p~o-
longation of said center line to the Westerly line of land
described in a deed to Alfred Covarrubias and wife recorded
May 22nd, 1952 in Book 2333, Page 48 of Official Records;
the side lines of s~d 84.00-foot strip to be lengthened or
shortened so as to terminate at the Westerly end with the
intersection of the Easterly line of said Tract No. 4o7 and
at the Easterly end with the Westerly line of said land of
Alfred Covarrubias and its Southe~y prolongation.
PARCEL 2: An Easement for street and public utility purposes
over a parcel of land described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of Parcel 1 described
above; thence Easterly along the Easterly prolongation of
the Southerly line of said Parcel 1 described above, 89.01
feet to the Westerly line of Tract No. 1371 as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 79, Pages 11 and 12 of Miscellaneous
Records of Orange County, Califomia; thence North 0o 04'
50" West along said Westerly line 4.00 feet to the Southerly
line of land described in a deed to Alfred Covarrubias and
wife, recorded May 22nd, 1952 in Book 2333, page 48 of Official
Records of Orange County, California; thence Westerly al0~g
said Southerly line 89.01 feet to the Easterly line of said
Parcel 1 described above; thence Southerly along said East-
erly line 4.00 feet to the point of beginning.
The Grantor hereby releases and relinquishes to the Grantee
all shutter's vehicular rights, including vehicular access
rights, appurtenant to Grantor's remaining property, but not
including pedestrian rights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ~ESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said Deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed
to cause said Deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, Cai ifornia.
