SUBMITTED TO THE--~BLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION RE-
QUESTING ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR THE PROTECTION OF
A CERTAIN CROSSING
WHEREAS, it has been determined that automatic protection is
needed on First Street at the crossing of said street by the tracks
of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor of the City is
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of sal d City a
request to the Public Utilities Commission of the State of Califor-
nia for an allocation from the Crossing Protection Fund in the a~ount
of $743.74 to assist in placing of proper protective devices at said
crossing, and that the City will contribute at least an equal amount
toward the cost of said protective devices.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
at its regular meeting held on the 15th ~! o~f July! 1957.
