THE CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the City Council, after study and consideration,
has adjusted the salaries and wages for employees paid under the
basic compensation plan to conform to prevailing standards, and
has adjusted the hourly rates prevailing in the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Santa Ana is not
covered by the basic compensation plan, and his salary was not
affected by the last salary adjustment prior to the current one;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the salary for the posi-
tion of City Manager is hereby fixed and established at the rate of
$1333.33 per month;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said salary sLuall be paid in the
same manner mud at the same time as other monthly salaries of the
City are paid, and thah said new salary rate shall take effect and
be paid from the 1st day of August, 1957.
