ATION TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN UNINHABITED
TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "FAIRVIEW AND
RAITT S. W. ANNEX", AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE
FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California
has approved the description of certain r~al property as herein set
out for the purpose of a~nexation and the Planning Commission of
Ss~ta Ana has approved said annexation; and
WHEREAS, the owners of all said real property have filed a peti-
tion with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the City of Santa
Aha, California annex said real property, stating that the same is
uninhabited and consenting in writing that said real property may be
taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted
prior to such annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all of said
territory to s~ d City under the provisions of the Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory ~ct of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that
said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 regist-
ered voters residing in it on August l, 1957, the date when said
petition was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of
Santa Ana, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described
as:
Beginning at an angle point in the City boundary of the City
of Santa Aha, California, said angle point being at the inter-
section- of the prolongation of the South line of Fairview
Avenue, 60.00 feel wide, with the center line of Rattt Street,
as shown on a map of San,ta Ana Acres, recorded in Book 5, page
8 of Miscellaneous }~p s, Records of Orange County, California,
and running thence South 0° ll' 20" West 1,949.23 feet along
said City boundary to the Southeast corner of Lot 78 in said
Santa Aha Acres; thence North 850 47' oo" west 6~8~28 ~£eet along
said City boundary; thence South 0o 21' ll" West 1.85 feet

Tract No. 1347, and slong the East line of Tract No. 1346 as
shown on a map recorded in Book 41, page 3, Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of said Orange County, to the Northeast corner
of said Tract No. 1346; thence North 89° 45' 18" West 660.51
feet along the North line of said Tract No. 1346 to the South-
east col~ner of Tract No. 604, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 24, Page 19, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange
County; thence North 0° 02' 15" West 1,342.87 feet along, t~he

South 89° 57.' 30" East 629.23 feet along said North line of
Fairview Avenue to the West line of Center Street, 60.00 feet

That said Council hereby designates "Fairview and Raitt S. W.
Annex" as an appropriate name for said annexation.

NOTICE IS HEEEBY GIVEN that September 16, 1957, at the hour of
7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at Third and Main
Streets, in the City of Santa Aha, Califo~mia, is the time and place

owning real property within said territory so proposed to be annexed.
