CONSENT TO THE RECORI~ATION OF DEEDS OR GRANTS T0 THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA WHERE S~TD CITY IS Nh~KING NO CASH DISBURSE-
~ENT TO THE GRANTOR
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 27281 enables City Councils
to authorize an officer or agent to acceot and consent to deeds or
grants conveying an interest in or an easement upon real property to
the City for public purposes, and permits such acceptance and consent
to be evidenced by a certificate attached to or printed on the deed
or grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Sm~ ta Ana, California hereby authorizes Carl J. Thornton
as the officer and agent of said City for and on its behalf to accept
and to consent to all deeds and graats made to said City which convey
an interest in or aa easement upon real estate in all cases where
said City is not paying a cash consideration to the Grantor. Said
officer cud agent is further authorized to attach to said deeds, over
his signature, the consent of the City of Santa Ana evidenced by the
standard form of certificate, as set forth in the Government Code
section hereinabove referred to.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 7th
