ATION TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN UNIN-
HABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED
"FIRST AND TUSTIN W. ~NEX", AND GIVING NOTICE OF TI~
AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO
~EREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California
has approved the description of certain real property as herein set
out for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Commission of Santa
Ana has approved said annexation; and
WHEREAS, the owners c~ all of the territory to be annexed have
filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the
City of Santa Aha, California annex said resl property, stating that
the same is uninhabited and consenting in writing that said resl prop-
erty may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or
contracted prior to such annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T RESOLVED:

liability ~ said City
That the City Council of the
intention to annex all of said
territory to said City under the provisions of the Annexation of Un-
inhabited Territory ~ct of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said
territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 registered
voters residing in it on October 18, 1957, the date when said petition
was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana,
California, lies in the County of 0r~ge, and is described as:
Begi~aing at ~ augle point in the City boundary of the
City of Santa Ar~, said an~le point bein~ the northeast
corner of Lot 15, of the ~abury Tract as shown on a ma0
thereof recorded in Book 165, Page 300, Hiscellaneous Be-
cords of Los Angeles County, Califomia, and running thence
southerly along said Santa Ana City boundary and along the
east line of said Lot 15, and ~s southerly extension to the
south line of First Street (66.00 feet wide); thence easter-
ly, departing from said Santa Ana City boundary, along said
south line of First Street to the no, beast corner of the
north half of t'~e west half of Lot E of the Stafford and
Tustin Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 2,
Page 618, Hiscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California; thence southerly along the east line of said
north half of the west half of Lot E to the southeast cor-
ner of s~id north half of the west half of Lot E; thence
easterly along the south line of the north half of s~d
Lot E to the southeast corner of said noi~h half of Lot E
and to the west line of Tustin Avenue (66.00 feet wide)
and to the Tustin City boundary; thence ~orth 0° 17' 30"

Street; thence north along said Tustin City boundary 200.00
feet to annabelle point in said Tustin City boundary; thence
northerly, departing from said Tust~n City boundary, along
a line parallel with the east line of the west half of Lot
14 of said ~,~abur.~ Tract to a line parallel ~with and 270.00
feet southerly from the south line of Fourth Street; thence
westerly along said line parallel with the south line of Fourth
Street to s aid east line of the west half of Lot 14; thence
northerly along said east line c~f the west half of Lo~ 14 to
the south line of Fourth Street and t o the City boundary of
t.~s City of Santa Aha, California; thence westerly along said
south line of ?o~rth Street and along said Santa ~'~na City
boundary to the po~.nt of beginning.
That ssid Council hereby designates "First ~lnd Tustin W. ~nnex"
as an appropriate name for said anz~xabion.
~2hat said Council hereby declares its intention toand it will
annex said territory to and include it within the Santa Ana School
District, Sa~t a Aha High School District and Santa ,~aa Junior College
District and upon the completion of said annexation, said territory
shall be and become a part of s~id School Districts.
~!'0TICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that December 2, 1957, at the hour of
7:30 P.~. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at Third and ~ain
Streets, in the City of Santa Aha, California, is the time and place
fixed at which said Council will hear protests made by any person
owning re~ property within said territory so proposed to be annexed.
At any time before said hour, any o'.'~nor of any of said property may
file written protest against this proposed annexation. Such protest
should state the o~.vner~ nsme and, in general ter~s, a description and
area of the property owned.
