Ana has approved said annexation; and
W~EREAS, the owners of all of the territory to be annexed have
filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the
City of Santa Ana, California annex said real property, stating that
the same is uninhabited and consenting in writing that said real
property may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said
City contracted prior to such annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha hereby declares its intention to annex all of said
territory to s aid City under the provisions of the Annexation of Un-
inhabited Territory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that
said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 regist-
ered voters residing in it on November 18, 1957, the date when said
petition was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of
Santa Ana, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described
as:

WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California
approved the description of certain real property as herein set
for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Cozmuiss~ on of Santa
Beginning at a point on the City boundary of the City of
Santa Aha, Californ~ia, said point bears North 0° 24' 19"
West 661.85 feet from a point on the center line of Edinger
Street which bears South 89° 29' 40" West 3301.92 feet from
the intersection of the center lines of Edinger Street and
Bristol Street; thence South 0° 24' 19" East along said City'
boundary 331.85 feet; thence departing from said City bound-
0~ 16, 20~ West 331.69 feet along a portion of the East line
of said Tract 1347; thence North 89° 28, 48'' East 657.98 feet
to the point of beginning°
That said Council hereby designates "Center aD~i Borchard E. Annex"
appropriate name for said annexation.
That said Council hereby declares its intention to and it 411
said territory to and include it within the Santa Ana School
District, Ssa ta Ana High School District and Santa Ana Junior College
District and upon the completion of said annexation, said territory
shall be and become a part of said School Districts.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that January 6, 195~, at the hour of
7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at Third and Main
Streets, in the City of Smcta Aha, California, is the time and place
fixed at which said Council will hear protests made by any person
ownin.g real property within said territory so proposed to be annexed.
At a~y ti~e before said hour, any owner of any of said property may
file written p~otest against this proposed annexation. Such protest
should state the owner's ns~ne and, in general terms, a description and
area of the property owned.
