No. 58-78 RESOLUTION NO. ~7-29~ DENIAL OF WISE SERVICE WELDING VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 94o AFTER RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after hearing, has recommend- ed approval of the variance applied for on Application No. 940 by Wise Service Welding to Alow the construction of a 40 foot by 150 foot craneway on property at 2516 Cypress Avenue, which is located in a C-2-PK District, for the handling and fabricating of structural steel, and the City Council, after consideration, disagrees with such recommendation; NOW, THER£FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the variance applied for on Application No. the City Council denies 94© as an undesirable enlargement and expa~ sion of a preexisting, nonconforming use in a C-2-PK District, where said welding and steel fabricating business is being conducted on a parcel of land too small for adequate use. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~l~day of December, 1957.
