CONVEYING STREE~--~ENT FOR THE WIDENING OF DELHI ROAD
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
PROPERTY TO JOE SHOEN
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is in the process of widening
Delhi Road and is acquiring an easement across the front of the p~op-
erties facing on said Road; and
WHEREAS, said City is the owner of a certain strip of land be-
hind a portio~ of the properties facing on Delhi Road, and has entered
into an escrow agreement whereby the City will convey to Joe Shoen
the strip of City-owned land ap~oximately 16.6 feet, across the back
of his lot, and will pay to said Joe Shoen the sum of $286.00 as con-
sideration for the deed dated October 30, 1957 from said Joe Shoen
conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
of Califomia, described as:
An easement for street purposes over the following:
The North 20.00 feet of the East 210 feet of the West 635.00
feet of the tract marked "Paci~ic Electric Right of Way" on a
map of South Santa Ana, recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 5,
Page 43, Records of Orange County, California.
NOW, ~tEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Santa &ua accepts
said deed and directs the Mayor and Clerk of the Council to execute
the deed from said City to Joe Shoen, and to deliver the same through
escrow, and said Clerk is directed to cause the deed accepted herein
to be recorded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
