OF ORANGE TO TRANSFE~ TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA FUNDS AI3OCATED FOR THIS WORK.
W~, by Resolution No. 57-19 adopted the 21st day of January, 1957, the
City Council of the City of Santa Ana requested that the County of Orange grant,
from the California Highway User's Tax Fund, the sum of $A~4,025.00, to be allocated
for the improvement of Edinger Street, w~ich request was approved by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Orange by resolution adopted the 29th day of January,
1957, and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha and the Orange County Highway Department on
November 27, 1956, entered into a Participating Agreement for the construction of
street improvements on Edinger Street between Bristol Street and Center Street, and
W2~E~S, a contract was entered into with O. W. Scott & Son by the County of
Orange, and thereafter the work of improving Edinger Street between Bristol Street
and Center Street, as contemplated by said resolution, was regularly completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
hereby accepts said work of improving said portion of Edtnger Street and declares
said work complete in accordance with the resolutions requesting grant of aid and
approval of the same.
BE IT FURTHEJt RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana authorizes
the Director of Finance to reimburse the Orange County Highway Department the sum of
$60,195~85 to cover the City's cost of construction of Edinger Street as per agreement
dated November 27, 1956, between the City and the County.
BE IT FURTHB~ RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby
requesm the County of Orange to reimburse said City of Santa .~Ua for said work to
the extent heretofore approved, that is~ in the sum of $~,025.0Oe
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular
meeting held on the 3rd d~y of February , 1958.
