A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OFFICERS TO
OPEN BIDS RECEIVED PURSUANT TO THE IMPROVEMENT
ACT OF 1911
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That all bids or proposals for work to be
done pursuant to the Improvement Act of 1911 may be opened,
examined and declared at a public meeting called by the Purchasing
Agent, at which meeting there shall be in attendance the City
Administrator, the Director of Public Works and the Purchasing
Agen~ and said officers shall report the results of the bidding
to the City Council at its next regular meeting after the opening
of the bids. This resolution is adopted pursuant to the provisions
of Section 5243 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to
the adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
