RESOLUTION NO. ~"~ AUTHORIZING COND~i~NATION~OF CERTAIN
R~AL PROPERTY FOR ~{E ~'~IDENING OF DELHI RO~D ON THE NO?ITH
SIDE
WHEREAS, Delhi Road as it now exists in the City of Santa Ana,
California is inadequate in width for the present and future demands
of traffic thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 'l~nat the City Couucil of the
City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines md declares that:
1. Public interest and necessity requires the acquisition of
an easement for street right-of-way across the real property herein-
below described:
2. That said proposed improvement is located in a manner which
will be mo st compatible with the greatest public good and the least
private injury.
That an action in Eminent Domain be filed to take and ac-
quire an easement for said purposes and for all the purposes of a
public street over and through th~ certain real property in the
City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as:

BE IT FURTHER R~ESOLVED: That the City Attorney be and he is
hereby ordered and directed to bring an action in the name of the City
of Santa Ana in the Superior Court of' the State of California in and
for the County of Orange, for condemnation of said property necessary
to be t~en as herein ordered and heretofore described and do all
things necessary to prosecute said action to final determination.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the public interest, necessity and
convenience require and it is hereby ordered, that the City of Santa
Ana, a Municipal Corporation, Plaintiff in the condemnation action
ordered herein, take immediate possession and use of the property
herein ordered to be ac$ired, upon complying with the requirements
of the law ~plicable thereto and that the City ~ttorney report to the
City Council, the amount of money respired therefor as soon as the same
has been ascertained.

of said property so to be acquired shall be taken in accord~ace with
Section 14, Article I of the Constitution of the State of California.
