FOR ALLOCATION TO THE CITY FROM THE CROSSING PROTECTION FUND
W~EREAS, heretofore on January 6, 1958, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 58-1 authorizing agreement with the Southern~?a~cif~_~_ic
Company for the installation of signal lights at the McFadden Street
railroad crossing, which said Resolution provided that the City of
Santa Aha would pay one-half of the installation cost;
NOW, T~REFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Santa Aha, Cal-
ifornia make application to the Public Utilities Com~ission of the
State of California for allocation from the C~ossing Protection Fund
of the sum of $1,890.00 to the City of S~ta Aha, or a sum not ex-
ceeding one-half of said City's actual costs in providing the protec-
tion agreed upon at the railroad crossing of the Southern Pacific
Company on McFadden Street, the same being designated Crossing No.
BK 518.0.
BE IT FURTMER ~SOLVED. that the Mayor is hereby directed to
sign and verify a request for the allocation of funds hereinabove
authorized and the Department of Public Works is directed to file
the same with the Public Utilities Commission of the State of Cali-
fornia.
