A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING CONTRACT TO IMPROVE
DAISY AVENUE AND OTHER STREETS WITHIN THE CITY, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 58-129
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, in open
session on the 21st day of July, 1958, publicly did examine and
declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work mentioned
iu Resolution of Intention No. 58-129 of said City Council declar-
ing its intention to improve Daisy Avenue and other streets within
the cit~ by the grading, preparing of subgrade, paving with plant
mix surface, construction of concrete curbs and gutters, concrete
sidewalks, and concrete driveway aprons, and other work appurten-
ant thereto.
Reference to said Resolution of Intention hereby is made for
the description of the work and the assessment district and for all
further particulars.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF SANTA ANA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby awards the con-
tract to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
Sully-Miller Contr~ng Company
pursuant to the bid submitted for doing the work described iu said
Resolution of Intention, which said Did is on file in the office
of the Clerk of the Council; said award is made at the price named
in said bid, and said City Council hereby rejects all other pro-
posals or bids for the doing of said work.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council hereby is directed
to publish the notice of this award twice in the "Santa Aha Inde-
pendent", a newspaper published and circulated in the City of
Santa Ana.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to

the adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
