A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AWARDING CONTRACT TO IMPROVE ST. ANDREW
PLACE AND OTHER STMERTS WITHIN THE CITY, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 58-151
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, in open
session on the 18th day of August, 1958, publicly did examine and
declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work mentioned
in Resolution of Intention No. 58-151 of said City Council declar-
ing its intention to improve St. Andrew Place and other streets
within the City by the removal of existing improvements, grading,
preparing of subgrade, paving with asphaltic plant mix, construc-
tion of concrete curbs, gutters, and driveway aprons, and other
work appurtenant thereto.
Reference to said Resolution of Intention hereby is made for
the description of the work and the assessment district and for all
further particulars.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby awards the con-
tract to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
pursuant to the bid submitted for doing the work described in said
Resolution of Intention, which said bid is on file in the office of
the Clerk of the Council; said award is made at the price named in
said bid, and said City Council hereby rejects all other proposals
or bids for the doing of said work.
SECTION 2. The Clerk oT the Council hereby is directed to
publish the notice of this award twice in the "Santa Ana Independent"
a newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same

shall be in full force and effect.
