IS PAYING NO CASH CON~DERATION
WHEREAS, R. EARL and CAROLYN D. STANLEY have presented to 7~
the City a deed dated September 18, 1958, conveying an easement
for the widening of North Main Street on the West side, South of ~
Santa Clara, and GERALDINE PAXTON has presented to the City a deed
dated September 16, 1958, conveying an easement for the widening of
North Main Street on the East side, South from Eighth Street, and
~HEREAS, CHARLES W. and MARGARET Y. BEACH have delivered to
the City a deed dated September 18, 19%8, conveying an easement for
the widening of Seventeenth Street on the South side, West of Grand
Avenue, and CERTIFIED ENTERPRISES, INC. has delivered a deed dated
September 24, 1958, conveying an easement for the widening of
Seventeenth Street on the South side, East of Fairmont, and
WHEREAS, Rosewood Homes, a corporation, has presented to the
City a deed dated September 15, 1958, conveying an easement for
sewer purposes along the South side of Hemlock Way, West of Rosewood
and running South and Southeasterly between Rosewood and San Lorenzo
Streets, and a further deed dated September 17, 1958 conveying an
easement for sewer right-of-way at the intersection of Rosewood and
Central Streets, and
WHEREAS, in each of said cases the City is not paying any
cash consideration to said grantors.
NOW, THEREF0~E, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City accepts said
deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is hereby
directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds and
cause the same to be recorded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of October, 1958.
