CITY IS PAttING CASH Cb'NSIDERATION
WHEREAS, CLEO NEAL SHARP has presented to the City a deed
granting fee title to Lots 4, 5 and 6 of the "Greenleaf Tract", as
per Map, Book 25, Page 49 of Miscellaneous Records, Los Angeles. County,
in consideration of the p~ment of $65,000, $30,000 of which has been
paid outside of escrow, together with $2~0 as adjusted rent for the
month of July, 1958, which was agreed upon to obtain immediate posses-
sion of said property, and
WHEREAS, HELMER L. ENGELSTAD and PEARL ENGELSTAD have presented
to t~e City a deed granting fee title to the South 1.5 feet, Lot 4,
and the North 48.5 feet, Lot 3, George W. Ford's Addition to Santa
Ana, as per Map, Book 2%, Page 62, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, in consideration of the payment of $11,250.00, and
WHEREAS, CHARLES E. MITJ.~.R and LEONA F. MILLER have p~esented
to the City a deed granting an easement for street purposes over the
westerly 10 feet of Lot 5 and the Southerly 45 feet of Lot 4, together
with a spandrel co~ner on a 15-foot radius at the Southwest corner
of said Lot 5, all of Tract No. 271, as per Map in Book 14, Page 9,
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, Califo~nia, excepting
those portions previously dedicated for street purposes, in consid-
oration of the ps~ment of $1,574.67.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City accepts said deeds
and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to
place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds and to cause the
same to be recorded through escrow.
