RESOLUTION NO. 58-262 OVERRULING RECON~NDATION
OF THE PLANNING CO~&~ISSION AND DENYING VARIANCE APPLICATION
NO. 1034 REQUESTED BY ~RGARET L. HALL, WITHOUT
PREJUDICE
WHEREAS, heretofore, after hearing, the Planning Commission
recommended the granting of variance on Application No. 1034, filed
by Margaret L. Hall to allow ~he construction of buildings for a
market and six small shops, in an R-1 District, on property situated
at the northwest corner of NcFadden Street and Standard Avenue, and
after study and hearing those persons present both in favor of and in
protest against the granting of said variance, and the City Council
being fully advised:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council disagrees
with the recommendation of the Planning Commission, and hereby denies
Variance Application No. 1034, without prejudice to the filing of a
new application at any time applicant so desires within the period
of six months from the date hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of October, 1958./
