RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIOi1 OF AN EASEPJIETJT DEED
TO THE COUNTY OF ORAJGE OF NECESSARY RIGHT OF WAY FOR THE
EDINGER STREET BRIDGE
WHEREAS, the County of Orange is perfecting plans for the con-
struction of a bridge across the Santa Ana River and Edinger Street
and desires the grant of an easement therefor from the City of Santa
Ana, and the City concurs in the recognition of the need for the con-
struction of said proposed bridge;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City authorizes the
grant of easement for street and highway purposes across property
standing in the City~s name, described as a portion of Parcel A in
said easement deed, and the P~?ayor and the Clerk of the Council are
hereby directed to execute that certain easement deed to the County of
Orange conveying the City~s interest in that certain property at the
intersection of Edinger Street and the Santa Ana River, described as:
PARCEL A: Beginning at a point in the north line of the south-
west one-quarter (SW~) of the northwest one-quarter (IJ~N4) of
Section 22, T. 5 S., R. 10 W., as shown on a sectionalized sur-
vey map recorded in Book 51, Pa---.e 12, Miscellaneous °vIaps,
Records of Orange County, California, being a portion of the
Rancho Las Bolsas, said point being 575.C0 feet east as measured
along said north line from the northwest corner of said south-
west one-quarter (SW~); thence, north., a distance of )}0.00 feet;
thence, east, a distance of 120.00 feet; thence, iv. 45° E., to
the intersection of a line that is parallel with and 9U.00 feet
no r.therly, as measured at right angles, from said north line;
thence, east along said parallel line, a distance of 250.00 feet;
thence, S. 45° E. to the intersection of a line that is parallel
with and 60.00 feet northerly, as measured at right angles, from
said north line; thence, east along said last mentioned parallel
line, a distance of 105.00 feet; thence, south, a distance of
10.00 feet, to the intersection of a line that is parallel with
and 50.00 feet northerly, as measured at right angles, from said
north lire; thence, east along said last mentioned parallel line,
a distance of 570.00 feet; thence, southeasterly to a point on a
line that is at right angles to said north line said right angle
line being 1 75.00 feet east of t)e point of beginning, said
point being }0.00 feet north of said north line; thence, east
along a line that is parallel with and 40.00 feet northerly, as
measured at right angles, from said north line, a distance of
350.OO.feet; thence, south, a distance of 40.00 feet, to said
north line; thence, west along said north line, a distance of
1725.00 feet, to the point of beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of December , 1958•
