RESOLUTION NO. 59-~6 GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION

COUNCIL DELETED A CONDITION RECOE~ENDED BY THE PLANNING
COMS~ISSION
'NHEREAS, heretofore the Planning Commission held a public
hearing, after notice, on Variance Application No. 1073, and recom-
mended to the City Council that the variance be granted to permit
the construction of a two-story, six-unit apartment building with
nine parking stalls for off-street parking, and the further condi-
tion that the owner dedicate property necessary to provide alley
easement of l0 feet between the center line of the existing alleys
and the subject property on both the South and the West side of
said property, and that the owner improve said alleys to City stand-
ards between the center lines thereof and the property line of sub-
Ject property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the question
of said variance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council approves
the granting of said varim ce to permit a two-story, six-unit apart-
ment house on the property known and numbered as 814 North Van Ness
Street, Santa Ana, California, a lot 50 feet from North to South, and
132.5 feet from East to West, upon all of the conditions hereinabove
set forth, excepting only that the owner shall not be required to
pave or otherwise improve the easterly half of the alley lying immed-
iately west of said property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
