HomeMy WebLinkAbout59-063RESOLUTION NO. 59-63 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA INCREASING THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE CITY AND ORDERING THE MODIFICATION OF THE ASSESSMENT ROLL IN THAT ASSESSMENT PROCEEDING ~OR THE IMPROVE- MENT OF MAIN ST~T (ASSESSMENT NO. 201) WPIEREAS, the assessment for the improvement of Main Street, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 58-131, was filed in the office of the Clerk of the Council of said city; and WHEREAS, a public hearing on said assessment has been held by the City Council; and WPIEREAS, by reason of said public hearing, it is the desire of the City Council to increase the contribution of the city to be made toward the cost and expense of doing said work; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the contribution of the City of Santa Ana to that certain improvement district for the improvement of Main Street, being Assessment District No. 201 of said city, shall be in- creased by the amount of $6,736.29, said sum to be paid from the treasury of the city out of the General Fund thereof toward the cost and expense of doing the work set forth and described in Resolution of Intention No. 58-131. That the total contribution of said city to the doing of said work, thus, shall be $14,236.29. SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent hereby is ordered and directed to modify said Assessment Roll No. 201 to show the total contribution by the city toward the cost and expense of doing said work as $14,236.29. SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
