TO VACATE A PORTION OF AN UNNAmeD ALLEY RUNNING SOUTH
FEON WASHINGTON AVENUE, WEST OF LINCOLN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended, after hearing,
that the alley herein referred to not be vacated, but the City Council
after study has concluded that the same may be unnecessary for ~esent
or prospective street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the map attached hereto
marked "Exhibit A" is hereby approved and ordered filed with ~nd as
a part of this Resolution, in the office of the Clerk of the Council~
and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars and exact
details as to this proposed vacation, and the City Council hereby
declares its intention to vacate and abandon the public alley or
portion of the same lying in the City of S~ta Aha, County of Orange,
State of California, and described as:
Unnamed alley being 15~ feet wide, running South from
Waskington Place, between Log~ and Lincoln Streets.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the hour of 7:30 P.M. on the
la% da~ of June, 1959, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Third
and ~ain Street, Santa Aha, California, is the time ~ d place fixed
for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed
vacation of said unnamed alley. The City Council hereby declares
its intention to proceed with said public street vacation under the
provisions of the Street Vacation A~t of 1941 (Sections 8300 through
8374 of the Street~and Highways Code of the S~te of c~lifornla); and
The C~k of the Council is hereby'ordered to publish this
Re~ lution in the marmer prescribed by law for the publication of
Ordinances of the City, and the Director of Public Works is hereby
ordered to post conspicuously along the line of said alley notices
stating the passage of this Resolution of intention and the time and
place of hearing t~ereon. Such notices shall be posted not more th~
300 feet apart and at least three shall be so posted. Said publica-
tion and posting shall be completed'at least ten days before the date
of hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby de-
termines that public convenience and necessity require the reserva-
tion of easements and rights of way as enumerated in, ~nd for struc-
tures enumerated in Section 8330 of the Street s and Highways
Code ~ the State of California, and that said easements aud rights
'of way shall be of a width of three (3) feet on each side of any
sm ttary sewer, storm drain, water line, gas pipe line, telegraph
or telephone lines, poles, cables or conduits, and any appurten-
ant structures existing in conjunction with any of the same.
These proceedings are taken subject to such reservations and
