IS PAYING CASH C0--~RATION
/ WHEREAS, JULI0 MARTINEZ has presented to the City a deed dated
June 29, 1959, granting an easement for street purposes at the south-
east comer of Verano and Seventeenth Street for the widening of said
two streets, together with a spandrel shaped parcel of land for the
rounding of said corner, in consideration of ps~ment to grantor of
the sum of $750.00; and E~A/I/'~r. and HEL~ M~_THEWS, tenants on said
property, have pnesented to the City a deed dated June 22, 1959, quit-
claiming any interest which they may have in said property; and
WHEREAS, AGNES M. and EDGERTON B. S~PRAGUE have delivered to the
City a deed dated September 2, 1958, granting an easement for street I
purposes for the widening of Main Street on the West side, beginning
at a point 125 feet South of Tenth Street and continuing South 103
feet, without any cash consideration being paid for said land, but
in consideration for the payment of the sum of $6,'710.00 to reimburse
said owners for the expense of relocating and remodeling the existing
improvements on said property so that none of said improvements will
be located on the 10-foot strip of land over which said easement is
and _TEXACO. INC. has delivered to the City a deed dated Jur~
granted;
10, 1959, quitclaiming any interest in said property; and JAMES L.
and ~ARTHA E. MA~I4EN¥ have delivered to the City a deed dated May 5,/~
1959, quitclaiming any interest which they may have in said property;
and RALPH L. and MILDRED L. MORRIS have delivered to the City a deed~$~
dated May 5, 1959, quttclaiming any interest which they may have in
said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City accepts said
deeds and directs Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, to
place his Certificate of Acceptance upon such deeds.
