MANAGER
SALARY OE THE CITY
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 5th day of August, 1957, the City
Council adopted Resolution No. 57-197 establishing and fixing the
rate of salary for the Cit~ Manager as !~1333.33 per month, and the
same has remained unchanged while other salaries in the City have
been increased; and
~4UtEREAS, salaries in the City Management field have continued
to increase at an accelerated rate, so that now the City of Santa
Aha is paying a City Manager salary that is materially below the
average of cities of simila~ size in this area, and to, in part,
offset this difference the Council has determined the necessity for
increasing this salary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the salary for the posi-
tion of City Manager is hereby fixed and established at the rate of
~14~8.33 per month.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said salary shall be paid in
the same manner and at the same time as other monthly salaries of
the City are paid, and that said new salary rate shall take effect
and be paid from the 1st day of July, 1959.
PASSED AitD ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting hold on the 6th day of July, 1959.
