"EDINGER ~D POPLAR sOUTH ANNEX" WAS Nm~T MADE BY OWNERS
OF ONE-HALF OF ~HE VALUE OF THE TERRITORY
WHEREAS, the Cit~- Council of the City of Sau ta Ana, by Resolution
No. 59-14~ initiated proceedings re, the annexation of certain territory,
and fixed July 20, 1959 as the time for hearing protests of owners
within said territory, and at said hearing protests were filed by three
owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council finds,
determines and declares that Resolution No. 59-145 was regularly pub-
lished as rsquired by law, that notice was duly mai led to each person
to whom land within the territory, proposed by said Resolution to be
annexed, was assessed in the last equalized County assessment roll
available at the date the proceedings were initiated; that the protest
hearing was regularly and duly held, at which protest was filed by
Arthur F. ~nd Theone E. Burden, Janes Lukens, and W. J. Larder; that

That the total value of land and improvements thereon so protesting
was $16,400.00; that the tot~ value of the territory so proposed to
be annexed was !i 43,930.00, and that protest was and is made by the
owners of 37.41 percent of the value o f said territory, as shown on
the last equalized County assessment roll, and that protest was not
made by the owners of one-half of the value of said territory.

Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th
