RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS
TO REPORT OF STR~.ET SUPERINTENDENT. APPROVING
REPORT AND ORDERING A COPY THEREOF FILED WITH
THE TAX COLLECTOR
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did. on the 6th
day of April, 1959, pass Resolution No. 59-69 . determining and
declaring that weeds which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and
which attain such a large growth as to become a fire menance when dry
and which are noxious and dangerous were growing upon the streets,
sidewalks, and private property in the Oity of Santa Aha, described
in the itemized report submitted herewith; and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of May, 1959, the City Council further passed
Resolution No.. 59-10~, ordering the Street Superintendent of said
City to abate such public nuisance; and
~EREAS, the said Street Superintendent has given notice as required
by law, in which notice the 3rd day of August, 1959, at the hour of
?:30 otclock P. M., was fixed as the time, and the Oouncil Chamber of
the City Hall of said City as the place where a~y and all persons
interested in the said report might be heard; and
WHEREAS, at the time set the Street Superintendent submitted the said
report, and all of said protests or objections to said report having
been heard; and
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that
all of said protests or objections to the said report of the work done,
be, and the same are hereby, overruled, and the report affirmed; and
that the Street Superintendent be, and he is hereby, directed to file a
copy of said report with the Tax Collector.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its
regular :eeting held on the 3rd day of August, 1959.
