HomeMy WebLinkAbout59-269RESOLUTION NO. ~y-2oy ACCEPTIN~ DEEDS V~UTERE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, THE RO~IAN CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOP OF LOS ANGELES has presented the City a deed dated September 23, 1959, granting an easement for street purposes for Fairview Street South of Harvard; a~d WHEREAS, ELEO.~T~RONIC ENGINEERING COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA has de- livered to the City a deed dated September 28, 1959, granting ease-%°£~Q merit for street purposes for the widening of Chestnut Avenue East of McClay; and WHEREAS, EVA, KENNETH and RAY PRICE have presented the City a deed dated September 24, 1959, granting a~ easement for street put- ~ poses for the West half of Fairvlew North of Edinger, ~nd KEnnETH I C. PRICE and MARCIA HUBER PRICE have presented the City two deeds each dated September 24, 1959, granting street easements over por- tions of Fairview, Edinger, McFadden and Sullivau, and the other for portions ~ Fairview and McFadden, Nc~th of Edinger; and WHEREAS, ~.~MAR~GA_~R~T~.~HALL has presented to the City a deed ~(~ dated September 19, 1959, granting street easement along the South side of McFadden and the West side of Stm dard, together with a spandrel corner; and WHEREAS, DELHI-MAIN INDUSTRIAL PARK, a partnership, has pre- sented to the City a deed dated August 25, 1959, granting street easement for Broadway Street, the East half of Birch Street, a 29-foot strip for the widening on the South side of Delhi West of Main, and an East and West Alley South of De2hi;I and a deed dated ~ September l, 1959, granting vehicul~ access rights to Delhi Road lying South thereof;land a deed dated August 25th ~ from said lands granting an easement for drainage purposes Southerly from said Street easements for Birch Street and Broadway, approximately 794 feet, and an East and West 12-foot drainage easement 668 feet in length connecting said two North and South easements;land augment dated July 7, 1959, agreeing as owner of the real property lying South of the area presently being~developed to accept surface drainage from said area; and WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being paid by the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City,s designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. Birch Street and Broadway as shown on the Record of Survey Map discharges water onto our property. We hereby state that we will accept all surface drainage draining from the above property and streets onto our property and will dispose of this water at a suitable point along our Southerly boundary.
