RESOLUTION NO. 59-291 GRANTING VARIANCE
N0. 1204 WHERE RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS WERE CHANGED

ON APPLICATION
WHER~AS~ after public hearing on Variance Application No. 1204
filed by Alfred M. Jaspe~ and Dale G. Dec~_q_~t~ the Planning Commission
recommended approval upon conditions~ and the City Council determined
to modify the conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Variance Application No.
1204 is hereby granted upon the basis of findings contained in Plan-
ning Commission Resolution No. 5170 to permit the erection of a re-
tail commercial structure aud the use for off-street parking in the
city of Santa Ana~described as:
The NOrth 77~ feet of Lots lO~ ll and 12 in Block 2
of Lyon's addition to Santa Aha as shown on a map re-
corded in Book 15~ page 49 o£ Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles County, California~
EXCEPT therefrom the West 10 feet of that portion of
said Lot l0 above described,
on the following conditions~
1. That owner replace 20 squares of broken sidewalk.
2. That owner remove,~close and curb the southerly drive-
way approach and supply standard sidewalk across said approach to
meet City standards.
3. That the building be set ba~k from Cypress Avenue so
that the Easterly one-third of the lots facing on Main Street and
the lots facing on Cypress Street will be reserved for parking~~
4. That a' ~-$o6~ conc~ete~block walt~be erected on the
North and South lines of said property to the front yard or set-back
line on Cypress Street.
5. That a four-foot high concrete bloc~ wall be placed
on the side lot lines in the front yard or East of the building
set-back line.
6. That a 3-foot high,concrete block wall be placed along
the front or .Easterly side of the property.
