TERRITORY FROM THE TUSTIN LIGHTING DISTRICT
~HEREAS, heretofore the territory hereinbelow described was
annexed to the City of Ssa ta Aha by 0~, adopted
October 5th, 1959, under the name of "McFadden and ~ustin S. W.
Annex", so that now all of the territory described herein is within
the limits of the City of Santa Aha but still remains in the Tustin
Lighting District and should be removed therefrom; and
~HEEEAB, on January ll, 1960, the Orange County Boundary
Commission approved the description hereinbelow set out as reason-
ably definite and certain for the purpose of removing said terri-
tory frc~ said District.
NOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT RESOLVED: That all of that territory
in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California,
described as:
Commencing at the most westerly corner of Lot 48 of Irvine~s
Subdivision, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book l,
Page 88, Miscellaneous Record Maps, Records of Orange County,
California; thence South 40° West to a point 12.50 chains
South of the South line of the Stafford and Tustin Allotment
in the Rancho Santiago De Santa Ana; thence West along the
South line of the Tustin Lighting District boundary, on file
in the County Surveyor's office, to a point 10.O0 chains
West of the southerly extension of the East line of Lot L
of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 2, Page 619 of Miscellaneous Records of
Los Angeles County, California, and to the true point of be-
ginning; thence North along s~d Tustin Lighting District
boundary to a point on the South line of McFadden Avenue
(40.00 feet wide); thence East along the South line of said
McFadden Avenue to the West line of Tustin Avenue (50.00
feet wide); thence South along the West line of said Tustin
Avenue to a point on said South line of said Tustin Lighting
District boundary; t hence West along the South line of said
Tustin Lighting District boundary to the true point of be-
ginning,
be and the same is hereby withdrawn from the Tustin Lighting Dist-
rict, and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares
that said territory is so withdrawn from said district.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of January , 1960.
